# Backup (IOS)

## Méthode

### Via iTunes/Finder

Contrairement aux appareils Android, il n'est pas possible d'effectuer un backup d'une application précise, les backups sont fait sur l'entièreté de l'appareil et se font depuis iTunes ou Finder.

**Note**: Désactiver l'option "**Encrypt local backup**" avant de faire un backup pour pouvoir l'analyser en texte clair.

Une fois le backup effectué, utilisez la documentation suivante pour le retrouver dans l'appareil (car l'emplacement peut varier en fonction du modèle)

**Note**: il se pourrait que vous rencontriez des erreurs en tentant d'ouvrir le fichier. (**Operation not permitted**)

Une fois cela fait, il reste alors à utiliser grep et autres outils afin te faire l'analyse du backup.

### Via libimobiledevice

Effectuer un backup:

```
$ idevicebackup2 encryption on "[PASSWORD]"
$ idevicebackup2 backup --full ~/Backups/
```

Restorer un backup:

```
$ idevicebackup2 restore \
  --system \
  --settings \
  --password "[PASSWORD]" \
  ~/Backups/

```
